The Harbour School
The Harbour School is a Special School and Alternative Provision for children who have a range of range of social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) developmental needs and / or medical needs.
The school was founded in 2007 under the Power to Innovate initiative and has built its ethos on ensuring that every learner is supported to develop the capacity, knowledge and skills to lead fulfilling and happy lives.
We endeavour to help our pupils to feel they matter and belong, enabling them to improve their social, emotional and academic skills to be the best that they can be.
The school works in partnership with the local authority and schools to contribute towards the city’s Social and Emotional Mental Health – Pupil Pathways.
The school operates from multiple sites situated across Portsmouth although provision extends beyond these physical locations.
