The Harbour School provides a supportive and friendly team ethos with a focus on professional development and training.

What our staff say

“Working as a mentor in The Harbour Medical Campus is challenging, inspiring and enjoyable. To watch the young people in our care grow provides great job satisfaction.” Heather

“I am a relatively new member of staff at The Harbour School and I have had a really good experience so far. I have settled in really quickly and feel valued and looked after. There is good communication and cross campus sharing and ‘thinking’.  Although I am working at the Vanguard campus, I feel very much part of the wider school. Pupils needs are very much at the heart of everything that we do at The Harbour School and there is a real shared Ethos of ‘each pupil matters’ and their needs must be met at an individual level both socially and emotionally and of course academically.”  Rosie

“I joined The Harbour School’s Stamshaw campus in March as an Education Key Worker and I am thoroughly enjoying the role.  The young people who attend are amazing and always bring a smile to my face. The staff are great and have been extremely supportive in helping me learn and develop new skills. I hope to continue a long career at The Harbour School.” Lydia

“An exciting and rewarding place to work where no two days are the same. You know that even the smallest of interactions can have a huge impact on the young people we work with.” Marc

“I’ve never felt so welcomed and supported in any other environment before, professional or otherwise. I couldn’t ask for a better group of colleagues to work with, and I’m so grateful to have been given the opportunity to start my journey at The Harbour School.” Izzy
